CONTENT ASSISTANT INTERNSHIP IN BARCELONA (JAPANESE NATIVE)

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates should have an academic background in Media, Social Sciences, Languages, or Health, with a focus on translation, interpretation, and content creation. The ideal applicant will be a native Japanese speaker with a high level of proficiency in either Spanish or English (minimum B2/C1), enabling effective communication in a bilingual working environment.
Previous experience in translation is required, and an interest in the medical field will be considered an asset.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Previous work translating content and fluency with new technologies.

TASKS:
  • Identifying key messages: understanding the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this powerfully
  • Editing your own and others' writing
  • Explaining complex ideas and findings in a way that can be easily understood
  • Assimilating speakers' words quickly, including jargon and acronyms
  • Help building up specialist vocabulary banks
  • Checking and proofreading text
  • Compiling new and reviewing existing definitions in strict accordance with previously agreed protocols
  • Providing clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document
  • Help with translations into native language
