BACKEND DEVELOPER INTERNSHIP IN MADRID SPAIN

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY: The company is an extremely driven and innovative tech firm located in central Madrid. It focuses on optimising the social impact of the investment portfolios of its partners, keeping in line the idea of corporate social responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS: Experience in SaaS business would be preferable, although not required.

Ideally, experience in the financial sector or regulated markets.

Exceptional coding abilities and experience with architectural design of large-scale applications and microservice approaches.

Knowledge of Java and familiarity with some Web Framework (Spring Boot, Jersey, Struts2).

Knowledge of data modeling (we use MongoDB)
RECOMMENDATIONS: Experienced professional with a track record delivering complex projects in fast-changing companies.
knowledge of any JavaScript framework Angular, React or VueJs

Willing to learn the complexities and nuances of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Strong communication skills. The right candidate can thrive in an environment of asynchronous conversation since a part of the team will be based in the US. We expect you to have strong communication skills and be able to create working relationships with coworkers in across various locations.

Open to trying new technologies and programming languages.
Knowledge of Python or NodeJs is a Plus
TASKS:
  • Clarifying what actions the program is intended to perform
  • Working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project to write a specific section of the program
  • Help combining all elements of the program design and testing it
  • Conducting testing and installing the program into production
  • Reacting to problems and correcting the program as necessary
  • Help evaluating and increasing the program's effectiveness
  • Help adapting the program to new requirements, as necessary
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
