COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN INTERNSHIP IN ALICANTE SPAIN

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY: Spanish architecture studio located in the city of Alicante which is specialized in modern architecture optimized for the new challenges of urban development and next-gen buildings

AREAS: Computer Studies, Engineering, Architecture
REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of parametric design tools (Grasshopper, Dynamo, etc.)
Proficiency in programming (Python or similar)
Experience with prototyping or digital tool development
Understanding of BIM workflows and IFC interoperability
Experience with Autodesk Revit (mandatory)
Strong interest in computational design and digital innovation in architecture or engineering

TASKS:
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
  • Work with BIM software for design and project management
  • Develop and implement custom scripts and digital tools to improve design processes (e.g. using Python, Dynamo, Grasshopper, or Revit API)
  • Create and manage BIM models in Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and efficient data structuring.
  • Collaborate on prototyping solutions that improve interoperability between Revit and IFC formats.
  • Support team workflows involving parametric systems and design automation.
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
