TASKS:	Delivering person-centred care Motivating and stimulating children's learning abilities, often encouraging learning through experience Providing pastoral care and support to learners and providing them with a secure environment to learn Assisting with the development of children's personal, social and language abilities Helping learners who are underperforming in their subjects, either on a one-to-one basis outside the classroom or within lessons Helping learners resolve a range of issues that create barriers to learn Preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations Checking and proofreading text Interact and engage with the pupils
