ENGLISH TEACHER INTERNSHIP IN GRANADA SPAIN

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY: This language academy specializes in the teaching of English, French and Spanish for adults, with a practical and innovative approach. It is located at the heart of the beautiful city of Granada.

REQUIREMENTS: • Studying a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree within teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
• Strong interest in developing practical teaching skills through training and classroom teaching
• A natural interest and passion for working in a team to explore current approaches to language teaching
• C1 - C2 level in English both written and spoken use because we have students studying C1 and C2 levels
• Attending our initial 2-3 week in-house training and on-going professional development workshops throughout the internship led by a qualified (CELTA) teacher trainer
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Office suite   Word   Power Point   Google Docs   etc.  
TASKS:
  • Developing and producing visual aids and teaching resources
  • Organising learning materials and resources and making imaginative use of resources
  • Help coordinating examination and assessment processes
  • Classroom management
  • (Help) planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups
  • Marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work
  • Planning and preparing lessons
  • Developing and implementing new methods of teaching to reflect changes in research
  • Supporting learners in self-esteem and confidence-building activities
  • Use key foreign language teaching methodologies in day-to-day teaching practice
WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week
