PRODUCT QUALITY ASSISTANT INTERNSHIP IN VALENCIA SPAIN

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY: Spanish company specialized in the development of high-tech building materials. The company is known for its line of research focused on ecological materials for insulated and flame retardant constructions.

REQUIREMENTS: You will be supporting the company in the manufacture of thermal, acoustic and flame-retardant insulating material from vegetal elements.

You will help also in the following tasks: logistics, stock control, palletizing and calibration tests.
RECOMMENDATIONS: You will also need some experience in the laboratory and with using industrial mixer, press, and dryer.
TASKS:
  • Help resolving issues that arise during the design, development and testing processes
  • Collecting information, interpreting data and publishing the results of specific projects in technical report form
  • Taking part in the decision process to choose the most appropriate materials for component production
  • Help solving engineering problems using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, thermodynamic or pneumatic principles
  • Taking part in building prototypes of components and testing their performance, weaknesses and safety
  • Discussing and solving problems with manufacturing, quality, purchasing and marketing departments
  • Testing materials to assess how resistant they are to heat, corrosion or chemical attack
  • Assessing materials for specific qualities (such as electrical conductivity, durability, renewability
  • Considering the implications for waste and other environmental pollution issues of any product or process
  • Monitoring plant conditions and material reactions during use
WORKING HOURS: 20 hours per week
