FRONT DESK OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP IN MADRID SPAIN

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY: This foreign language academy offers a broad range of language courses ( English, French, German, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese and Spanish) for all kinds of levels and age groups. Classes are offered in Spain, England, Ireland and the United States. On top of that they organize summer schools in Spain and abroad to give full immersion to the learning experience.

Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)

Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Problem-solving skills
Customer service orientation
RECOMMENDATIONS: Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position.

High School diploma; additional qualifications in accounting or administration will be a plus.

Language lover with multiple languages background is a highlight because the internship is in an international language school and they want to hire after the training period.
TASKS:
  • Assist with team decision making
  • Advising clients on products and services available
  • Maintain communication with the customer by phone, through email and in person
  • Carrying out research and data collection to understand the organisation and its context
  • Preparing business proposals and presentations
  • Manage and organise information using statistical software
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases
  • Apply business development and marketing strategies in order to attract new clients
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships in person, by phone and through email
  • Work with corporative tools (CRM, e-mail, phone, social media)
WORKING HOURS: 30 hours per week
